Concours d' Elegance
By John E Adams
Just pushed out another book on the 2009 10
th Annual Riding Into History
Concours d' Elegance. This was my first visit to this amazing show and well worth a visit if you have not attended - what a collection and a beautiful setting!
The Sponsors of the show reviewed the hard copy and will be using it as the official event publication, all of their profits will support the local breast cancer charity. It really came out nicely and the first 15 pages may be previewed online via the link above.
Peter Egan, editor of Cycle World said, “The big shaded circular promenade at World Golf Village is the best place I've ever seen for a bike show.”
Dennis Gage, producer and host of Speed TV programs noted, “With the World Golf Village as its backdrop, this is the premiere motorcycle
Concours d'Elegance in North America.”
Perhaps Motorcycle Hall of Fame member Craig
Vetter summed it up best when he said, “A good cause, good people and good bikes. It doesn't get any better than that."
