Outlaw Skies
A Covingtons masterpiece!
Had a great trip to Biketoberfest although cut short for me due to medical problems this week.
On these trips I always work two types of shots; bikes on the street, with a calling card inviting the owner to take a look at a shot of their bike that is hopefully different than any they may have seen or had done before and the second being from the hip shots. Both are equally as inspiring, with each bike on the street shot it really takes a lot to get them framed up, waiting for folks to move etc.. I have no control over the access, light or environment - in either of these settings and always try to shoot them without people in the background.

The processing is equally as inspiring, although very tedious. If I did it right on the street they look even better as they come to life on the screen. I finally finished most of the street shots, (can be viewed here) much fewer than last year - the old body is limited right now - dreading meds and hospitals this week - but I do feel the best is yet come - not as many but some really nice stuff ready to work.
Above is a sample of my free style and below a Street Shot.
