1930 Minerva AL 3 Position Cabriolet

In all, fewer than 50 examples of the Minerva AL were built, just eight remain and this car is the only known Cabriolet extant. While some may mistake Van den Plas for more common English coachbuilder, Carrosserie Vanden Plas was a noted Belgian coachbuilder.

This car is fitted with a period tool kit in the trunk as well as 2 pieces of fitted luggage and it is also an extremely rare, matching #’s, original bodied example. This car has won “Best of Show” at numerous Concours events throughout the US and is currently part of the Joseph Cassini collection.

Taken at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival.

You may purchase a print in our dElegance 2014 online gallery.
