The N type was the last of the overhead cam 6 cylinder MG’s. WWII ended the production of the N Type MG’s and following the war MG’s were reintroduced with simpler push rod engines. N types were manufactured from 1934 to 1937 and a total of 737 cars were built.

The N type was recognized in the period as a performance car with MG’s most advanced and largest displacement overhead cam engine and many of them were converted from street use to high performance specials or race cars. This vehicle has a Marshall supercharger and an ENV pre-selector transmission.
